I used to have this rant on wood that I got from ebay, I got one too many bad pieces. Now I can tell you where to get the best woods on the net.

If you are looking for quilted/flamed/burl maple then Chuck from Durawoods on ebay is a great resource to buy wood from. He has the nicest wood with the best prices. All of my tops are from him. I have spent close to three thousand dollars with him and I have yet to be disappointed. All of his woods are kiln dried and stable.

Chuck is a wood hunter, he goes out to local farms in WA and hunts down the trees and processes them himself.

They may not have the fanciest website, but they will bend over backwards for you. I will only buy my tops from them.
