Building a Custom Guitar

I bought 330 bd. ft. of white limba or korina, whatever you want to call it. This piece that I used is very light, almost like swamp ash. I used african blackwood as the fretboard, control cover, headplate and truss rod cover.

Here is my way of building a guitar. I have a huge pin router that I create templates on and use that as my base. Check out my shop photos to see my shop.

This is finished in a 50-50 mix of Tru-oil and shellac, my favorite. I then used wax to build up a nice finish.
